OUR HISTORY
FOUNDED IN FAMILY
Lulich Implement Inc. was founded in 1961 by brothers Frank, George, and David Lulich, who began the business in a humble barn milkhouse before constructing their first dealership building later that same year. In the early 1960s, they built a strong reputation by providing essential repair parts, dependable service, and selling Oliver farm equipment. Growth followed quickly, with the addition of Meyer Manufacturing equipment and New Holland hay tools in 1965, and Knight equipment in 1969.
GROWTH AND DEVELOPMENT
In 1967, George and David stepped away to focus on farming, leaving Frank and his wife Helen (“Happy”) to carry the dealership forward. After Frank’s passing in 1972, Happy took over the business while raising their four sons—Charlie, Don, Peter, and Robert—and continued expanding operations, including adding H&S Manufacturing equipment in 1973. In 1975, she purchased a John Deere dealership property on U.S. Highway 63, and in January 1976, the business officially reopened as Lulich Implement Inc. at its current location.
The next generation stepped in when Happy retired in 1996, with sons Bob and Peter Lulich assuming ownership alongside Peter’s wife, Bonnie. The dealership continued to grow, adding Kubota and Land Pride equipment in 2000 and expanding its reach across the region.
